Zaber’s new M-LSM Series of motorized micromanipulators are standalone devices that can be used for positioning probes under a microscope either through joystick or computer control. The M-LSM features an adjustable probe holder that can mount probes with diameters between 2 and 13 mm; using the holder, probes can be rotated 360 degrees and easily locked in position.

Small but powerful, these stages have up to 10 mm/s speed and up to 3.5 kg thrust. With a microstep size of less than 25 µm and < 1 µm repeatability, they allow for reliable ultra-fine positioning. These stages can also be mounted in XY or XYZ configuration, with an AB106 mounting bracket.
