X Y Positioning
Scan XY40 – the new 2D Piezo Scan and Positioning Stage
The Scan XY40 piezoelectric actuating stage offers a travel range of 40 microns per axis. The nanopositioning piezo stage is mainly designed to fulfill requirements for 2D scanning applications. The superiorly performing scanning stage can offer a resonant frequency of more than 800 Hz per axis. The Scan XY40 is ideally suited for nm-precise positioning of light weight optic components such as mirror prisms or laser diodes. |
ASR Motorized XY Microscope Stage with A-MCB2 Controller
Zaber's ASR series stages can be used either as replacements for the manual stage on many common microscopes or as stand-alone XY scanning stages. Their low profile and excellent flatness and perpendicularity make them ideally suited for many applications. The perpendicularity of the two axes is defined by alignment features machined into the ASR's central plate and held to less than 0.013° (0.23 mrads) of 90°. |
Dual Axis Positioning System for Liquid Handling
Steinmeyer, Inc. offers another exciting new positioning system that is ideal for liquid handling systems and medical dispensing applications. The series LTZ is a 2 axis system that incorporates precision composite belts and is driven by stepper motors. Linear guidance is provided by miniature profile guide ways.

Precision Piezo Positioning Stages for High Resolution Microscopy by PI
Fast Objective Focusing Devices – PIFOC® Family Piezo-driven fast nanofocus devices not only provide nanometer precise focus control but they are also used in in 3-D imaging and Z-stack image acquisition due to their rapid, millisecond-range settling speed. Several devices are available to match different objective sizes and weights. Travel ranges from 50 µm to 2 mm are available. |
High Acceleration XY Voice Coil Positioning Stage
H2W Technologies introduces a high acceleration, voice coil driven, XY positioning stage with a precision bearing system, which minimizes the amount of pitch, yaw, and roll in the system. The voice coil stage (VCS08-700-08-350-CR-01-MC-XY) is a closed loop positioning system that can be used for high force positioning applications. |
Vacuum Compatible Brushless Linear Motor Positioning Stage
H2W introduces a new vacuum compatible SR series positioning stage. The brushless linear motor positioning stage (P/N SRS-024-04-020-01V) is a closed loop system that can be used for positioning applications inside a vacuum environment. The SR series stage is a compact, small footprint, open type positioning stage. The ironless core coil assembly has no magnetic attractive force to the stationary magnet assembly which increases life of the bearing system. |

High Force Oscillatory Voice Coil Positioning Stage
H2W’s voice coil positioning Stage (P/N VCS12-1000-LB-C) is an open loop system that can be used for high force, oscillatory applications that required sinusoidal motion. The stage is driven by an NCC moving coil type linear actuator and is guided by two ceramic coated shafts sliding within two precision linear bushings. Each voice coil has a 1.2” [30.5 mm] stroke, generates 100 lbs [445 N] of continuous force and 300 lbs [1362 N] of peak force. It can be supplied with springs so that the voice coil will operate as a balanced spring mass system. Digital output linear encoders are available as an option. |
