Interface Board
iC-LNG: space-saving, 16-bit optoencoder with just 1 µs cycle time
iC-LNG: serial/parallel absolute-value device requiring only approx. 8 x 7 mm of board space The new iC-LNG device is a multichannel, optoelectronic scanner specifically designed for the capture of absolute position date for linear displacement measuring systems or rotary encoders. The chip’s extremely small design is achieved by combined scanning of a 10-bit Gray code in addition to an analog signal track which is evaluated using real-time interpolation and which extends the position value to 16 bits. |
Configurable 48-bit up/down counter up to 40 MHz for fast ABZ encoders and measuring sensors
Fast ABZ encoder interface with TTL/RS422/LVDS inputs for microprocessors The configurable 48-bit up/down counter iC-MD is designed for the easy connection of fast incremental encoders, enabling count frequencies of up to 40 MHz. The integrated direction discriminator detects the direction of movement and moves the counter up or down with each edge at the A and B inputs. |
Largest Selection of COTS SSPCs Portfolio
Sensitron offers the largest selection of COTS portfolio for SSPCs, with proven rugged technology. Sensitron’s Remote Solid State Power Controller Boards are microcontroller-based boards designed for 28VDC applications, and are qualified for the M1A2, M1A2, M2A3, Stryker, and MGS programs, to name a few. |
MB4U: USB 2.0 real-time encoder interface adapter with BiSS C and SSI for fast, interruption-free measurements
With the BiSS-to-PC USB adapter MB4U, a BiSS master with C protocol and high-speed connection is now available for the first time ever, enabling bidirectional data exchange with the available device memory at the same time as the cyclic output of measurements. The adapter can be used for both linear and rotary position sensors (encoders), and also for light curtains and distance measurement applications that support either BiSS or SSI as a protocol. |
iC-GF: IO-Link Slave Transceiver
iC-GF is a monolithic interface iC with two independent switching channels which enables digital sensors to drive peripheral elements, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC) and relays, for example. All functions are controlled either by pins or via SPI interface, with extended functionality and configurability in SPI mode. The connected sensor can be parameterized using the feedback channel with integrated "IO-Link Wake-up" detection. |
BiSS goes Web 2.0
The open source BiSS interface asserted in the bidirectional communication for automation, worldwide and vendor independent. New social media platforms in the web 2.0 demonstrate the ideal platform for intensive communication and networking of BiSS users. Corresponding accounts on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube have been established, RSS feeds are subscribable. The homepage www.biss-interface.com informs about BiSS products and services and links into the social media in the web 2.0. |
