Based on a series of patented designs and proprietary manufacturing technologies, these innovative fiber optic modules enable overlay of a variety of channels or signals on one optical fiber. The SX51 data module is a bidirectional optical module capable of transmitting 14 GB/s downstream and 155 Mb upstream, all over a single multimode fiber. The data module is protocol-agnostic and can be configured to suit a variety of applications, giving customers the ability to differentiate their product.

The SX4 mini-module is an optical subassembly module that transmits four video or data channels over one multimode fiber. With a microcontroller preprogrammed for optimal optical transmission on board, the SX4 module is a fully integrated electrical-to-optical transmitter versatile enough to be designed into a variety of systems.

Both the mini-module and data modules include an integrated SC clip, a durable metal housing with EMI shielding, and offer transmission distances of 300 m up to 1 km over a single multimode fiber.
